Hexies On Display – Quilt Show

This is a bit more of the Chicago International Quilt Festival 2017.  This is the special display of hexagons in amazing settings and another of primitive style folk art.  Just 2 more of the groupings there.  There was also a green and red display of quilts that could not be photographed.  These were mostly applique and vintage, dating back to the 1850’s.

These are only some of the quilts in this display, now on to a few of the primitive folk style quilts.  Much of the fabric used in those was wool combined with cotton and other fabrics.

I forced myself to limit the number of quilts that I post for the sake of the non quilting people out there. This was a spectacular show and I will post a few more pictures.
