These doors are from the city center area of Portland, Maine. The 3rd door is from the house of Longfellow which is next to the Museum. Fun day spent in Maine so I could add it to my list of states visited. Only 3 left on the bucket list.

Hard to choose today. The second set, the museum doors, are so sturdy. Maine’s a lovely state. Good for you to get to only three left. I have two: Alaska and Hawaii. Not sure whether I’ll get to either but I would like to take a cruise to Alaska, the only cruise that really sounds interesting to me. Our younger daughter was just in Hawaii and loved it.

I managed to get Alaska done about 25 years ago and never had any desire to go to Hawaii. Then 3 years ago I went with 2 grandkids and said ok you got a hard state our of the way. They are in their 20’s and love travel. Alaska is on our list because it is one of my favorite places in the world. Just do it, what an achievement when some people never get out of their town or state. My favorite doors are always old and wood, ha.

Thanks, I never set out to do all 50 but as I close in on the total I figured why not.

Wonderful doors. The fourth door is beautiful in its simplicity of square blocking.

I know. Just think of the workmanship that goes into making it. Love it.
